It's a little tricky getting enthusiastic about sewing some new Winter woollies in this tropical weather, but the new season is coming, and stuff must be made!
Let's pretend there's a little chill in the air, and a mist on the fields.
We can see our breath as we walk, probably in sturdy boots, and the dogs are happy to get a bit wet romping about in the damp grass....
Our cheeks are all rosy with fresh air and exercise, and a roaring fire and a bit of afternoon tea awaits.
We'd be needing a nice scarf to keep warm, and how about a bit of slightly old fashioned, but pretty, floral cotton paired with a good argyle pattern wool?
I can almost feel Autumn coming can't you?
Take a look over here for more crafty creative goodness.

I love the new scarves Jo. The argyle mixed with florals are inspired! x
loving the argyle & the combo. ANd the meditative cure to 36degrees....
Oh yes Jo! I can feel it....I can feel it......oh no, its just the air conditioning. But it'll be here before we know it.
Thank you for joining in on my little humid afternoon fantasy!
No!!! Autumn is so depressing. I do love your scarf and the mix of the two patterns though.
usually I dread the onslaught of the cooler months with the dread of a thousand dreads, but your beautiful description of a winter walk helped to lift the fear - I've just taken a screen shot of it and will keep it near to get me through this year's winter. x
Jo, I have worn my scarf at least 6 times over summer. I have also worn my thermal underwear at least 6 times..... oh sorry a little too much information.
I love the scarf.

...I am still living in hope of an indian summer....mummy mookah, I can entirely understand the need for a few thermal undie days 'on the coast', if I had some, I would have worn them too!
